Sheree Monti has the personality and
style to "Make Your Event a Social Highlight." From corporate events
to pig pickin's - and everything in between. Her extensive library can
accommodate music for the youngest partier to the corporate CEO. Born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia, she has been lauded during her past years in the music business. And even before embarking on a career in the industry, had performed with Donna Fargo, at the 1967 Autumn Leaves Festival in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, and with the Arthur Smith Show, at the 1970 West Virginia State Fair. In 1972, Sheree began working professionally with several bands as vocalist and drummer. This gave her great opportunities to perform with many "name" artists including Conway Twitty, Lorne Greene, Mickey Gilley, Marty Robbins, Frankie Avalon, and Grand Ole Opry stars Don Gibson, Eric Wiseburg, Stonewall Jackson and George Morgan, just to name a few. Additionally, Sheree made several appearances on local TV stations with Mel Street, and starred in a television special on WBRA in Roanoke, Virginia in 1979. Among Sheree's accolades are her victory in the 1975 Miss Mercer County Beauty Pageant; Princess in the 39th Mountain Forest Festival in Elkins, West Virginia; runner-up in the 50th Anniversary Grand Ole Opry Talent Search; and becoming West Virginia's first "All-American Girl" in 1977. Over the years, Sheree has graciously contributed her talents to many charitable organizations, functions, and fundraisers. Her love and desire for music is all encompassing and she attributes her accomplishments to the love and support she received from her mother, and such pioneer inspirations as Joan Baez, Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter and Anne Murray. She is also
a club DJ who has worked in the Charlotte area at PJ McKenzie's,
Cahoots Marriott, Adam's Mark, O'Hara's Holiday Inn Woodlawn,
Twisters-Lake Norman, and the Holiday Inn Salisbury and she also has
experience in radio promotions as well.
